The Plastech Brasil
With the inclusion of new sectors, it has become one of the most comprehensive business platforms in the petrochemical processing chain. In its fifth edition, the trade fair encompasses plastics, rubber, composites and recycling, as well as automotive components.
Another new feature is the possibility of guided technical visits for groups from major national and international companies. Exhibitors and visitors will also be able to enjoy personalized tourist, cultural and gastronomic activities in order to make the most of all that the Serra Gaucha region has to offer – including the Região das Hortênsias (Hydrangea Flower Region), Vale dos Vinhedos (Vineyard Valley), Vale Trentino (Trentino Valley), Caminhos de Pedra Valley, Canyon Region, Campos de Cima da Serra, visits and tastings at award-winning international or family-owned wineries, as well as excursions to historic districts in Caxias do Sul where centuries-old traditions have been preserved.
Initiatives that proved successful at previous editions will be maintained, including business roundtables on an international (Think Plastic Brazil program) and national level (through Sebrae) and networking areas, such as Happy Business. The sustainability and educational initiative Plastech Brazil Recycle has been expanded and will now reach beyond the fair.
Plastech Brasil offers its participants highly competitive cost-effectiveness, recognized throughout the trade fair industry. Our goal is to facilitate relationship building with a view to cementing business deals, present innovations and promote opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike. In 2017, the market will be here. Bigger and better.
Plastech Brasil is one of Brazil's largest trade shows organized by a business entity. In 2014, the Plastics Industry Association of Northeastern Rio Grande do Sul (Simplás) celebrated 25 years of representing more than 500 processing companies that generate more than direct 13,000 jobs in eight municipalities (Caxias do Sul, Coronel Pilar, Farroupilha, Flores da Cunha, Garibaldi, Nova Pádua, São Marcos and Vale Real).
The area covered by Simplás holds the largest concentration of plastic processing industries in Brazil.
